Hello - any word when finalists will be announced? I have a lot of work planned for my project, however if I am not a finalist some of it could certainly be back burnered for a couple months...

They've already announced it for Assistive Touch. I'm unsure about Green Hacks.

Ahh, I see. I was refering to the Green Hacks finalists, not assistive tech.

Seems like somebody could not get out of bed before 7 am this morning ..... Green Hacks was about 1 hour late to start .... tut ... tut ....

That was a joke BTW.

you know my friend... in Sardinia there is an old saying... "non esti a si scirai a chizi ma inzertai s'ora" that means "you don't have to wake up at the dawn but at the right time"

I read somewhere that punctuality is connected to the concept of 'Respect'. A friend of mine used to say stuff like "I'll be back on Tuesday", then turn up 36 days later. I could have coped with a day or two late but 36 days seemed a bit extreme. I guess it's also about context - no rational person would expect the contest to start at exactly 7 am if it relied on a human being to initiate it.
