About us:
Once again in the history of Poznan comes the hackerspace initiative. Such have already existed.

Our initiative is partly associated personally with the Warsaw Hackerspace.

We are equally associated with Sealcode, which originated in Poznan - also a couple of people on board.

What we are doing:

• We meet on every Wednesdays at 18:00.
• After discussing current affairs, we sit in a relaxed atmosphere and deal with general interests.
• Meetings are held hybrid stationary + online. The place and form are determined for each time on the chat channel a few days in advance

We want these meetings to be not only a meeting, but also an opportunity to use all kinds of equipment and tools. A platform for this is being created.

Etymology of the name

“Knyfyrtel” is a combination of two words from the Poznan dialect - ‘Knyf’ is actually a literal translation of the word ‘Hack’ from English, i.e. in the dialect it is used as a term for some interesting and nifty solution. The word “Fyrtel,” on the other hand, means the nearest neighborhood.
