I've been meaning to give PCBWay a try for some time, and thought this would the perfect time to experiment with some new designs for my radio boards.
So, after a few days, this showed up!
Inside the box, some nice new boards and corresponding stencils:
The first experimental board is a smaller sized version with PCB Antenna rotated 90 degrees:
And I thought it would also be interesting to see what kind of performance I could get using an external antenna (SMA connector footprint seen here):
Here's a comparison with the "current" version board:
I'm very happy with how the PCBWay boards turned out ...but would how would they perform? Tuning and results are next.
