I was thinking about the emptiness of space, it started like this:
Everything is energy, right? And "dark energy" is supposedly responsible for the universe's expansion.
So then I ask: why are galaxies speeding away from each other?
That led me to a theory.
What if our entire universe is the result of matter and energy spewing out of a massive black hole—flung beyond its event horizon, now forever expanding?
And then I had to ask: what kind of environment would be left behind after such an event?
My answer: A vacuum. Not a great amount but noticeable.
So… what’s in a black hole, beyond its event horizon?
Again I answer: A vacuum.
Maybe the void is what's left after creation.
