The Manifesto 🛠️
Every year, millions of tons of perfectly good electronics are sent to landfills because a corporate executive decided to glue a battery down or solder a chip. They want you trapped in a cycle of buying, breaking, and rebuying.
At CTRL ENERGY, we are building ZERO, a modular powerbank ecosystem designed to end this planned obsolescence. But a hardware startup cannot fight multi-billion-dollar tech cartels alone. We don’t need an employee. We need an army.
We are recruiting a volunteer force of passionate tech advocates, tinkerers, and sustainability warriors to form the ZERO Vanguard. Your mission isn't to look at schematics in a dark room; it is to raise hell, amplify the message, and make the open-source hardware movement too loud to ignore.
The Deal & Perks 🎁
- The Status: You unlock an exclusive "Vanguard" security clearance tier inside our private Discord server. This gives you direct access to weekly founder AMAs, unreleased schematic drops, and a seat at our digital design table.
- The Reward: Complete our community milestones and tracking quests, such as amplifying announcements online, giving design feedback, or inviting fellow makers. Once achieved, we will ship you a free ZERO hardware setup under the exact same terms as our clients, except yours will be a hyper-rare, Vanguard Special Edition.
What We Expect From You ⚡
📣 Amplification Echo Chamber: When we drop technical breakdowns, repair guides, or anti-obsolescence manifestos, you are the frontline. You don't just "like" it; you push it into the corners of the internet where people are tired of disposable tech.
💡 The Propaganda Machine: Share the ZERO mission across Reddit, LinkedIn, X, and your local spaces. Help us turn a product launch into a cultural debate about the right to own what you buy.
🔍 Spot the Obsolescence: Act as our intelligence network. Spot egregious examples of anti-consumer hardware design out in the wild, bring them back to the hub, and help us tear them apart publicly.
🚀 Lead Open-Source Spark-ups: Every month, we drop experimental open-source ideas and feature forks. If you love a concept, you can jump in, grab the mic, and take the lead on it, earning permanent credit as a Main Contributor to the ecosystem.
Who This Is For 🎯
- You are a passionate supporter of the Right to Repair movement, iFixit philosophies, and tech sustainability.
- You are tired of watching passively from the sidelines and want to actively help bring an uncompromisingly modular product to the global market.
- You want to collaborate with thousands of like-minded builders, engineers, and creators who share your exact values.
