Robert HartI've started something in Adelaide South Australia that has become an interesting human experiment. I work at the city of PAE Libraries as the STEM Learning and Programs Offices and teach children and adults alike essentially how to make stuff. We were planning a Library Repair Café, but then the world changed. However, helping people online is different, you can't do it for them, they need to do it themselves, they have to learn DiY. So what do you do? Introduce them to the wonderful world maker culture in Adelaide by creating a comfortable welcoming space for them all to hang out online in real-time, like a virtual Café. So I'm calling it "The Repair Cafe Experiment". Really more like a Hackerspace or makerspace online.

Do you have a forum where people can ask questions and get answers? It seems that you could get participation from other states, and even have a nationwide virtual repair cafe forum.
Also how did you approach the question of liability? I always wondered if in the real world, repairs to things like kettles and toasters had to be done by qualified people and people submitting things for repair had to sign a release.
