This paper appears to be for punch-cards. My buddy and I were planning to play a long-distance long-term game of "Battle Ship" with it. I should probably stop using it as graph-paper... It's probably pretty rare these days!

Hah! I thought the ceramic and gold were dead-giveaways... also thought "in my collection" was self-explanatory. I don't know *why* I thought these things... So, the basic jist is: I've inheritted *a lot* over the years... over the *decades*... from people who had their collections for *decades*.
I don't see a date on these chips, surprisingly... I have no idea! There's no date in the data-sheets either. So, definitely after the IBM PC became common-place, mid-to-late 80's?
I need to take some pictures of my own, though... these things are weird... That picture makes the pins look like the drop down from the sides of the chip... but the pin-spacing is actually a normal fat-DIP, just like the socket above... so the pins are actually mounted on the *underside* of the ceramic slab and bent downward. Weird.
