I got tired to remember all my passwords! So I decided to spend one weekend evening to make this device. I called it CQKey:) Using ability of Arduino Micro to emulate PC keyboard, I just enter login and password with it.
CQKey is connected to USB port and recognized by computer as PC keyboard. Works on Windows, Linux, Mac, Android and so on...
CQKey has little display, to show which of records with login and password is selected, and four buttons - two for scrolling among records, one for printing login and one for printing password.
CQKey stores records with my logins and passwords in flash rom. (it is enough for 10 records)
I'm using this device for a year, but project still not finished. There are many things to do:
- add separate rom for storing records
- add bluetooth for easier communication with devices (micro-USB cable can be found not everywhere)
- finish application for management logins and passwords from PC
- finish gui design for CQKey version with oled disp
