In the final version of this project, the rocket will have to know its altitude in order to launch. For this, I'm using a combo barometer/thermometer from sparkfun. They included nifty libraries that do all kinds of math for you allowing it to be used a an altimeter. When it arrived in the mail, I spent an evening trying to get the thing working and taking reliable readings.
