The core problem with this project is the low budget, the chinese parts keeps failing. 3 soil sensors rusted out in a month, 2 buck converters failed and ruined the lead-acid battery. The solar charge controller never worked. The setup originally used 20mA on average, but after the parts started failing, it went up to 100mA. Im planning on using wall supply. After finishing the new case design, i will restart the project.
On the good side, the tomatoes are growing well.
