I have started to assemble the very first module. It is made of 70 Panasonic NCR18650PF cells:
The bus bars are standard 10 X 3 mm² tinned copper bars. The total cross section is 60 mm².
Thanks to the assembly jig, the pitch of the nickel strips is precisely 19 mm. Welding the strips on the positive terminals of the cells is therefore very easy.
I weld twice every battery, resulting in four spots.
The very first welding spot.
The module is ready for positive terminals spot welding
