This was my first attempt at a portable device. I have gotten some good experience with cases, battery as a power supply, minification and general interface design / placement. The components were an Arduino, an Adafruit light sensor, a navigation button (3 inputs), an LCD and an external box that had to be cut and shaped to fit the inner parts of the device.
