Description

This arm was a project I built to practice more advanced stuff with the arduino.

All of the structural pieces of the arm are 3D printed. Grippers can be custom designed, though I have already made a simple gripper, hook, and sharpie clamp.

The actuators are 4 identical metal-geared microservos. I also included a breadboard in the base.

All of the parts for this arm can be purchased off amazon and made for less than $40. Once built it can be used by anyone from a kid in grade school to a graduate student.

I have built a site where all the files, code, and tutorials found for anyone who would like to build one.

Details

The LittleArm Project is done. We did a Kickstarter in July which did great. The files and kits can all be had from the LittleArm home website now.

The LittleArm has turned into a top STEM kit as schools around the United States.
