Tutorial Difficulty: Beginner

Time Required: 10 minutes

Required Materials:
• The Omega
• a mini dock or expansion dock
• a micro USB cable
• a USB audio sound card
• a normal music output device (i.e. speakers, earphones).

1 × The Onion Omega
1 × Any Dock Mini, Expansion, or Battery
1 × A USB Cable micro usb
1 × A USB Sound Card
1 × An Audio Output Device Speakers or Headphones

Setup
Connect all the components as shown:

Step 2: Install avahi-nodbus-daemon

2A) If avahi-nodbus-daemon is already installed on the Omega, we have to uninstall it:
```
opkg remove avahi-nodbus-daemon --force-depends
```
2B) Update opkg:
```
opkg update
```
2C) Install avahi-dbus-daemon:
```
opkg install avahi-dbus-daemon --force-overwrite
```

Install Shairport-Sync
```
$ opkg install shairport-sync
```
