Figured one day i needed something to program my new attinys to shrinkify from arduinos. Fired the solderinggun to make an Arduino Attiny-programmer and while doing it, major brainfart; lets standardize it. Stackable pcb's using headerpins. Modular small outline input/output boards. And a programmer, ICSP and Arduino compatible programmer. Running Attiny's on the bare metal just using expansionboards. One of the major parts of the idea is to keep it simple, the pcb layout is optimized for making it yourself with some simple veroboard and a cheap solderingiron. Even the programmerboard is layed out as simple as possible. The project it self is pretty much done. What it lacks is a good way to represent it. The documentation is not done, but you may still check out the link.

Yes it is just protoboard and headerpins, but it is a standardized way to do it. If you first build it using this standard you can mess around with it later on without having to solder everything over again.

Motivation:

-  make a standard platform for prototyping with Attiny's.
-  make the boards and programmers layout so simple they can be made from simple veroboards with a cheap solderingiron
-  unlimited(*cough*) shield stacking
-  no need to fabricate pcb to make shields, make shields from veroboard
-  almost smallest possible outline
-  all chips pins are transparent through all stacked shields, unless of course shields are made to prohibit that.

I will continue this by making some stuff using the concept but for now I am way to busy with my new 3D printer which will also be used to printing casing and supports.
