Finding a proper screen for this project has been one of the hardest decisions we've had to make so far.

It determines everything from what the game will look like to how much our boards will cost to build.

In a perfect world we'd love to have color and touch, and still have a retro look (think: nintendo.)

Which is a beautiful 2.8" TFT display with serial touch, sourceable from China for a mere $12.

If it works, and the power consumption is reasonable, I think we're moving forward with that display.
