11Step 11
Connect the ISP6 cable from your favorite programmer tool to the LoFi ISP6 adapter. Then connect the adapter to the LoFi Sender board.
-
12Step 12
Choose Device Programming from the tools menu.
Select the Tool and Interface that you are using. Set the Device to ATtiny84A. Click Apply.
Click Read on the Device Signature to verify that the connection is working.
-
13Step 13
On that same window (Device Programming), click Fuses. All but two of the fuses are factory default.
Scroll until you see BODLEVEL and SUT_CKSEL. Set them to 1V8 and blah_blah_blah_4MS, respectively. If you are going to be using a wired power supply or a AA battery pack, you can make the BODLEVEL (brown out detection) a larger number. If you want to save every little microamp possible, you can disable BODLEVEL and set SUT_CKSEL to 0MS. However it had better be a noise free environment with adequate battery power.
Click the Program button to save the fuses.
-
14Step 14
On that same window (Device Programming), click Production file. Browse to the Release\LoFi.elf file and check the Flash checkbox to enable the Program button.
Click the Program button to write the object code to the ATtiny84A on the LoFi Sender board.
-
15Step 15
Repeat steps 9-14 for the LoFi Gateway board.
-
16Step 16
Ta da! You've just built LoFi.
