The home energy meter will hook up to the electrical distribution panel in your home to monitor power usage for the entire panel and a few key branch circuits. The meter will wirelessly transmit real time metering data up to a Raspberry Pi over WiFi to store in a database. The Raspberry Pi will host a web server to present the data in a meaningful way to the user.
