FUSIon 360 3d printing Fashion design cosplay 3d printed fashion fabric

This project was created on 07/23/2018 and last updated 5 years ago.

Description

I'm David Shorey

I am developing a means of producing finished clothing designs using 3D printing technology and embedding objects like fabric and rings into the 3D prints.

When this project is completed I will have designed and assembled eight dresses. These dresses will be displayed in a runway fashion show. Along with the runway show I will give a speech on how the designs work and how they were created. I will display pieces that are used in the dress designs for the audience to see up close and even feel!

This method of clothing production is like nothing anyone has ever seen before. These ideas could revolutionize the fashion industry by providing a less physically demanding method of prototyping, which shows that someone can create outfits without having a high level of dexterity. This also allows the maker to create designs which allows for electronics and other technology to be embedded into clothing.
