I'm thinking about joining this blink an LED contest by MacroFab. The overall goal is pretty simple: build something that blinks an LED.
This summer vacation me and my girlfriend went head to head in many Tetris matches. We played on our Game Boys using the Game Link Cable. Good times!
Reading about the contest, I remember our gaming sessions and thought to my self: the Game Boy must be capable of blinking an LED. Right?
In my head it looks something like this:

My Game Boy should connect to an LED through a Game Link Cable and possibly some other electronic components. By writing a simple application and loading it to a flash cart, blinking light should be achievable.
Sound simple enough. :) Wish me luck!
