Before we start, there's one more thing that needs fixing. As you can see on the picture, the front right suspension is broken. This is not surprising now that it is printed from PETG and has been in operation for half a year.
The new wheel suspensions will be milled from aluminium and should therefore be much more robust.
Beside the broken wheel suspension I can already plan ahead what exactly I need to do.
First of all the wheel to wheel distance should be at least 450mm, mine is only ~300mm. To fit this rule I want to exchange the Motors with new ones, which have a longer shaft and have a wider profile.
The Moving objects should have a bumper to protect your own feet as well as other racers.
As mentioned above my feet have to be protected, that will be solved with the bumper.
Each racer needs to have a fuse to limit the input current, so that the competition is fair to everyone.
Also every racer needs to have a power switch.
