Why are Smartphones Brickable when Computers are not?

Both Apple and Google terrify users with the threat that an attempt to re-purpose their Smartphone will destroy (brick) their phone.

This threat blocks the rights of both USERS and SOCIETY to re-purpose phones that the manufacturer REFUSES to maintain, or support, in any way.

Let's co-create DISINFECTED BOOTLOADERS that eliminate the BRICKABLE BUG.
