here comes the spider mech

This project began in 2017 as a Halloween decoration. That original spider was cut from aluminum and incapable of walking. Since then new spiderbots have been developed. This project received funding from the Apogaea arts festival, but through tragedy and covid, was temporally displaced. There are two distinct arms )legs( of this project - one is a larg spider, with depth sensing cameras and machine learning - the second is smol spider made of paper. Both are designed explicitly to be good at dancing.

Moved to papercraft for the legs

We started cutting the leg joints a few hours ago; now for assembling +/- 264 components make up the legs. Will begin designing the cephalothorax soon.
