HotHouse is a kinetic sculpture project that was installed in the Gladstone Hotel in 2018. It works using a simple Arduino Uno sketch ganged to ADCTouch and FastLED for pixel controls with interrupts.
The parts were made using a large-scale laser cutter and hand-drawn, then pegged together using ball chain and common dowels. Each piece of the project was designed to be recyclable or to decay pleasantly, with the unfortunate side effect that it is difficult to reinstall the project.
