"Samson" is an Arduino based drum kit housed in a vintage suitcase. It can be controlled by any Bluetooth MIDI enabled sequencer app. For solo guitar gigs it's quite useful as a portable backup drummer.

The unit basically processes an incoming MIDI input stream and activates solenoids positioned behind a variety of percussion instruments. By using standard off-the-shelf MIDI sequencing software it is very easy to create custom drum patterns.
