Unfortunately all of our mycellium was contaminated with mold so we have to consider this batch a total loss.
We are going to try casting concrete and hydrocal next while waiting for our next batch to grow.
We did get some growth, but clearly the mold won.

We have been growing it in the studio primarily; it typically hovers around 65F. In general it seems that mycelium likes the same temperatures that people do.
Keep in mind that Mycelium is our lower threshold material, we plan on being able to use the same molds for concrete, plastic casting, hydrocal etc. The idea is that if we can successfully make assemblies in Mycelium that hold together then everything else will be a walk in the park. We love the sustainable aspect of mycelium though, its pretty awesome to be able to turn "worthless" byproducts into cool objects.

How cold can it get before growth is affected. It does not look warm :)
