This has been a great day. The Master Slave J-K Flip Flop works perfectly with the astable clock. A total of eleven inverting gates involved and not a transistor in sight. The power supply voltage is very critical and might be an issue later down the road, but for now I am very happy.

Going to use the same logic layout as I used for IO and clocked with the astable multi- vibrator.
