Each Brick contains all the user input and output hardware, so the connected brick sequence is also the user interface.

The goal is to empower the people maintaining these automation solutions with the ability to completely understand how they work, allowing them to diagnose and fix problems in every part of their system.

Bricks are connected in sequence, executing in a way similar to software, each performing a simple function before passing control to the next brick. In addition to input and output connections each brick has an active connection that can be connected to a relay brick, drive an actuator, or another logical brick.
