I 3D printed a jig to hold the LEDs in place while I soldered them. Everything else was done freehand just bending and soldering as I went. Here is a video of it in Action. https://youtu.be/jBud8K_HZlc
I had a plan I originally sketched up but pretty soon in to the build I realized what I had in mind was not going to work. So from that point on I just bent and soldered and made it up as I went. Sometimes I would have to take a step back because its a whole lot harder trying to straighten out a bent wire then it is to bend a straight one. Over all I had fun building this and will look forward to doing something similar in the future.
