I have the manual for the previous version of this board (v1 iss 4, based on the Trident chip, and with no LCD interface) but the differences are so large it makes the manual mainly inapplicable. I intend to analyse this antique as much as possible, and get my STEbus processors talking to it. Some of the early intel CPUs struggled to manage a VGA screen fast enough, so a Z80 may run like treacle. The feat will be doing it at all, never mind quickly. Video chip is a Cirrus Logic CL-GD5429-86QC-C. It is a 4-layer board, parts are hard to get, so a remake would be better done in FPGA. This project is just about recording the technical details for posterity.
