These are stepper motors based on the standard NEMA 17 size motors you can find all over the internet, with some changes and upgrades: Water- / weatherproofing seals in the flange side of the motor, a stainless steel hollow shaft for cables (easy to fill for a total seal), stronger bearings with a different fit model for reduced shaft axial and radial play. For practicality I tried to stick to the NEMA 17 external dimensions.

Why post this here? I think these fill a gap in the robotics motor ecosystem and I want to use them. The more people use them the better the pricing and supply for everyone will be. At the moment pricing looks to be around 30 to 45 USD per motor in sample size production batches (based on feedback from Chinese manufacturers).

I'm hoping to get some feedback on the design, like potential issues or modifications to make them more universally useful. Once I gathered sufficient feedback I'll finalise the design and obtain samples.
