Yeah, makes sense. I think I can hook up my Keysight directly to my PC using a USB cable, but I haven't explored that yet. Probably have to buy a license to do anything useful, though - grumble. Might need to script something myself...
Nice hack. Does the Rigol not have a button for screen caps? Or is this a way to avoid have to shuffle USB drives between the scope and a PC?

@Dan Maloney : I'm pretty sure the Rigol can store to a USB thumb drive (but I've never tried it). I prefer the instant gratification of grabbing the images to my laptop directly via the USB cable... :)
