Description

Bare Bones USB Mini to isolated UART.
Host PC connection is a a Mini USB Type B connector.
UART connection through a 0.254 pitch, 4 pin male right angle connector (GND, RX, TX, VCC).
USB to UART handled by the FT230XS 16 pin TSSOP device.
Isolation provided by a SI8422AB two channel isolator(listed up to 2.5KV).
UART connector must be externally powered 2.7-5.5V

Details

Simply used as a debug tool to connect a PC COM port through isolation.

Expects power from DUT.

Shout out to Guan Yang (wherever you are) for the original 231X KiCAD project from 2013 I started from.
