It would be used to power, and deliver ethernet, to items such as Pi Zero's, google home minis, chromecasts, firesticks

It is a real thing now: https://www.uctronics.com/tools-and-accessories/pi-accessories/uctronics-poe-adapter-to-micro-usb-ethernet-power-for-raspberry-pi-zero-fire-tv-stick-chromecast-google-mini-and-more-ieee-802-3af-compliant.html
Are you sure? yes | no
I've started switching everything I can over to PoE. (Three Raspberry Pi's, etc.) It'd be nice to add my Fire stick to the list without using 2 adapters.
The only one that seems available is way to expensive: Airtame PoE Adapter
Would make so much sense, one has to wonder why Google doesn't sell one.
This would be so much nicer than having to use two adapters to POE power all of those use cases mentioned below the title.
