After taking the monitor apart (which was actually pretty easy due to DELL's easily servicable design), I noticed how simple it really was. The "main internals" consisted of a controller board simply bolted to the back of the display itself. The bezel buttons were a nice neat board, and so was the USB hub. As of now, it seems like project will go really smooth.
