Description

Here is a bit of a different Hack- using a 3D printing pen to add a flexible grip to objects.

In this case I used an old, beat-up hammer to add a flexible grip with custom details directly onto it. I used TPU filament so the grip will conform to the handle and provide a nice, high friction, “rubber” like surface.

This approach can be used to add grippable surfaces to a whole host of other objects and I thought it was a great practical use for a 3D pen.

Might not be quicker than Plasti-Dip, but it's a lot more creative. Nice work.

Thanks Dan. It would be interesting to do a comparison to Plasti-Dip.  

I bet this would hold up a lot better- I was really surprised at how tough it was and how well it stays in place.
