Thanks to @Anool Mahidharia for adding many more 3-D models for parts in the design. This has been merged:

And thanks to @greg davill for posting a video of how to STEP model to footprint. He did with in minutes of me tweeting for help!

I was able to follow those directions to add the STEP model I found on Digi-Key:

Do you folks need more help with the CAD part, or are you good to go ?

I can try adding in the missing parts, and do a FreeCAD assembly for the Badge if needed.
