I used a Chinese 8" VGA monitor and a ATXMEGA to create this Vt100 terminal
I used TinyCad to make the schematic and FREEPCB to create the PCB files
The PCB is 7.5 x 6 cm
The Atxmega is running at 50.35MHz. According the manual its able to run 48MHz for full speed USB. and at 50MHz it's not getting warm at all. i have set it running for 5 days without any problems. i did try the internal clock multiplier running 2MHz x 25 and that works (kind of) its just not stable enough for a good picture

Because its not posible to start the DMA for color and data to the screen at the same timei had to change the schematic a little to delay de data 1 clock cycle. I also changed the PCB layout to match my Z80 project. Its now also creditcard format.
I ordered for the new PCB and i will update next as soon as i get the new PCB's and i can make some pictures
