Description

This FeatherWing enables your Adafruit Feather Board to drive two DC Motors. For example to power your robot. It has four Infineon IFX007T driver ICs which give you plenty of power. They support up to 40V and 55A. The whole feather wing is designed to support these voltages and currents. Additionally it has a connector for an emergency stop to safely stop your robot. The feather wing generates 3.3 V to supply other feathers and the input is reverse polarity protected.

The feather wing also features a ADS1015 ADC to measure the current and the back-EMF of each motor. This can be used to implement a speed control of the motors and thus enabling smoother motion of robots.
