Almost 14 months into the new blower's life, the 1st heat wave of the year brought the need to change filters & reinstall the inlets.  As expected, most of the air was going in just 2 small holes.

Amazingly, no spiders this time, but pretty caked after 14 months.

Vacuumed the dust but did not rebuild this one.  The manufacturer's gas seal seemed good enough.  Too bad younger lion assumed hunter blowers would always be made & threw away the manufacturer parts.

Installed foam to try to more evenly distribute the intake.  Availability of this foam has proven very unreliable, hence many attempts to go without it.

The next step is really a better stand.  It might be wise to buy another batch of filters, since supplies are becoming very unreliable & lions aren't going to be in this apartment in 10 years.
