In this tutorial, we're showing how SOLO is capable of controlling the speed of a DC Brushed Motor in a sensorless manner in a very simple way using ARDUINO as a commanding unit.
The speed is controlled in a closed-loop fashion which means SOLO will keep the speed of your DC motor constant, regardless of the amount of the load applied on the Motor as long as your DC motor is capable of generating enough torque. The tuning of SOLO is mostly automatic and in couple of minutes your final system will be ready and operational.
This closed-loop sensorless method will be helpful in traction units, double wheeled robots, spindles, and any system that the fixation of Speed is a critical requirement.
