I found myself needing these sorts of couplings regularly for work. To save designing them every time I spent an afternoon designing this model to be parametric. Download the files, open them in Solidworks and go to the equations tool (just search equations in the search bar at the top).Use the reference PDF to see what each relates to. Recommended clearances depends on your printer, but start big and work smaller. if you cant get a tight fit "up/down" print out a circle 1 layer thick at your working OD to take up some space. Male part prints with support.Video Explanation here: https://youtu.be/--vyrE49Nc4
And a video of "one of" the uses. Used to house most of the electronics for a drone, allowing different bodies to be tried without having to de-solder and remount everything.
This is Great! :-)
But, we don't all have SOLIDworks, especially if we are Mac :-(
I don't seem to be able to use it in FUSION360.
Is there another way to use this, or maybe in FreeCAD.?
Thanks.
