The board is designed as main Brick for general IoT, with the FPGA as plus to customize board features for the specific application.
It is Arduino compatible, with Libraries to include specific features as programming FPGA form ArduinoIDE
Till now (15/05/2020) prototype have been already tested on sample CarrierBoard, on two reference design:
1. as a GPIO extension for ESP32, implemented on FPGA
2. as a I2S bluetooth Stereo speaker interface, with a 16bit sigmadelta DAC implemented in FPGA sent to an external analog amplifier (TPA3111)
ON GOING features:
- new board version including 8MB PS-RAM
- further reference design and carrier board to explore capabilities
