

using dowl rods we extend the connection from the larger buttons about 3 times the size of the original down to the RGB remote control. I recommend using a drill bit to Ream out the shafts to the size that allows your dowl rods to slide without resistance. I cut a couple of mine a little too short here so I will run by the store and pickup another down to get the last couple pieces cut. The buttons can push fit into the dowl ends and when you are ready you can use screws or glue to affix them. I recommend painting before glueing them on. I needed to test functionality at this point so that UCPLA could start printing on their end.
