When you have a party or friends gather together for fun, the digital turntable can be a very good tool for an Active atmosphere.
Step 1: Diagram Schematic
The circuit generates an impulse train with NE555 multivibrator and drives CD4017 to output a high level one by one.
When the key is pressed, the cycle begins. After the key is released, the LED will light slowly due to the C1 capacitor-discharge, and finally, stop at a certain LED. If the ten diodes are surrounded into a circle, a circuit similar to a random turntable can be made, which is similar to dice and is quite interesting.
