I am getting character drops when loading the S Records - but only sometimes. I had a similar problem  with MIKBUG s-record loads. I solved it there by disabling echo on loads. There is no ECHO on TUTOR when the file is loaded from the ACIA as the second port.

I think there may be a workflow that works reliably.
