Liebherr provided the local API for all devices with a smart device box. Communication with the device was working. Then, they turned off this feature, saying it is only for business devices, not for consumers. After I emailed them, they added a note on their website that it is only for business devices. This is how support solves problems. They announced that they plan to create an API for customers through the cloud. So, they have an API but want to create a new one. Genius! https://developer.liebherr.com/apis/smartmodule-localapi/swagger-ui/

i think this can be regular UART (bidirectional) as Smart module based on ESP32 only.

It is very unusual that two power voltages are present, in practice 3.3v is quite enough.

I've checked / traced the pins and seems to be +3V, DATA (3V pull-down), GND and 12V

Tried the 1-wire protocol, but no success...

Does anybody has access to the Smartdevicebox device? What protocol is used for the DATA line?
