Over 4 years ago I started a project called Meshanger Badge with was meant to be an off-grid wifi mesh networking badge based on the ESP8266 but to lack of experience and confidence I pretty much shelved it.

But now with the impending release of the brand new ESP32-C3 a RISC-V based processing core with all the ESP32 bells and whistles including wifi and BLE 5.0 basebands.
