I've been using my DPH3205 regulated power suppy for a while and although I like it overall two things bothered me:

- it has a rather noisy always-on case fan
- it uses banana jacks/ binding posts as a power input

The fan was replaced with a low noise variant, which is still always on but barely noticable. The fan needs 12V, so the feedback resistors on the driver PCB were replaced with 3.9k and 33k.

A XT60E-M conector was added in parallel to the input power jacks and a matching XT60 plug was solderd to the input power supply. The cutout was made by drilling 2x 6mm holes and filing away the excess material. To makes the XT60E-M fit behing the PCB, you have to cut part of the solder lugs and solder wires to the side instead. Use M4 nuts and washers for spacing. When using the banana jacks as inputs, you should cover the XT60E-M with a blind plug to prevent accidental shorts. Always use genuine XT60 connectors from AMASS, off-brand ones fit either too loose or to tight.
