+V and -V Display Module for EuroRack/Synthesizer

+V and -V on a RED and Blue Voltage display meter for a Output display for a Control Voltage JOYSTICK or other +/- Voltage source.

let's you display +V and -V voltage on a RED and Blue Voltage display meter for a Output display for a Control Voltage JOYSTICK or other +/- Voltage source.

Main Circuits
•1 x TL072 (Voltage Follower and Inverting Buffer)
•3 Wire Voltage Display that can Display DC 0-100V

The +V (RED)Display just has a simple Voltage follower to buffer the Input signal for accuracy.

The -V (BLUE)Display is wired to a Inverting buffer.
Which inverts the -V into a +V that the display module can read. Results are great much more interactive then just a led indicator.

Search up: DC 0-100V 0.28" 3 Wire LED Voltmeter Digital Display Voltage VOLT METER 12V 24V
for the displays. Pretty Cheap.

Quick prototype on a breadboard. Works Great no problems at all.

  • 1 × Tl072 Amplifier and Linear ICs / Operational Amplifiers
  • 2 × 3 Wire Voltage Display 2 Wires for power 1 wire for Voltage Reference
  • 2 × 47k Matched Resistor pair (Close as possible) for Inverting Buffer
  • 2 × 1k Electronic Components / Misc. Electronic Components

  • Kinda Shelved this one for now

Still gotta build and use it a bit. This is more of a one off module that has really been put to the side. I might revisit and actually make it into a module who knows. I do have to say aluminium cutting square holes is a big thing so a PCB might be the way to go.
